Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

  • Determine project requirements and acceptance criteria by extracting them from our stakeholders, as well as from current and future users, through interaction and research
  • Lead analysis and document Business Requirements and functional specs, perform data mapping and create process flow diagrams and wireframes, and work closely with solution architects, facilitators and systems analysts
  • Synthesize information rapidly and scrutinize current processes and offer better alternatives
  • Demonstrate strong intellectual curiosity and is constantly looking to learn new skills
  • Communicate requirements clearly to stakeholders, SAs and partnering groups. Write clearly and articulate effectively
  • Actively participate in design sessions to review and document design decisions
  • Write effective test plans that meet acceptance criteria and subsequently perform comprehensive testing of the software
  • Experience working in a time a time sensitive environment
  • Self Starter who is comfortable working independently as well as within a team

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong Excel and good SQL skills preferred
  • Experience working in an Agile setting, writing Acceptance criteria/User stories and working in an agile tool (Rally, Jira) is a plus
